Debt Free!!!

???The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.??? Proverbs 22:7 (NIV) This bible verse was inspiration to pay off our student debt as soon as we could. We decided to be more aggressive on the loans about two years ago and were successful in paying off $55,000 in that time-frame. Now we are debt free and our next step is to get into a house. We are quickly learning that being debt free is challenging in getting approved for a mortgage since we have no credit scores but it is comforting to know that God has the perfect house picked out for us if we are willing to be patient. The ???world??? can tell us to go into debt in order to gain credit but we do not agree with that approach. Thanks to Dave Ramsey???s Financial Peace University, we gained confidence and knowledge on how to prioritize our finances. We pray that our accomplishment will encourage others that it is possible to live debt free and it has its rewards! In God???s love, Josh & Tiffany Cousino
